MADE BY KITARO

November 2010: Klaus Jochums (42) becomes Director of Sales at the KITARO Fashion Group, Düsseldorf. Jochums makes up the new top management level at KITARO together with Kai Wilhelm (46).

September 2010:
Managing Director Marc Borowski leaves the company as a result of the changed ownership structures within the KITARO Group.

2010:
three ARQUEONAUTAS Stores in Hamburg, Hannover and Berlin are opened.

2009:
the first ARQUEONAUTAS Store is opened in the Schadow Arkaden in Düsseldorf.

2009:
as a result of the great success, the trade name ARQUEONAUTAS men and women becomes independent. Roll out during the winter CPD with stunning new ARQUEONAUTAS Showroom in Hall 29, Rheinmetall Allee 3 in Düsseldorf.

2008:
the licence of the J.J. MEN Collection, in cooperation with the recently founded M.K.J Textilhandel GmbH, includes the entire textile goods group and therefore allowed the creation of a complete range in the high-quality, very modern
men's outer garments segment.

2007:
acquisition of the right to use the name Arqueonautas and development of the first successful men's fashion collection Knitwear under the label Signum meets ARQUEONAUTAS.

2003:
K.M. Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH is founded with the label JETTE as a further licence in the field of knitted and woven fabrics and jeans.
The designer Jette Joop designs a comprehensive women's product line, which is established in the high-class sector, with the team from K.M. Vertriebsgesellschaft.

2002:
Steffen Ziegler leaves the company for health reasons but has since been incorporated within the company as an external sales representative in Baden Württemberg and Hessen. The two owners Marc Borowski and Kai Wilhelm have since headed up the business management. Marc Borowski is responsible for the
women's outer garments area, while Kai Wilhelm heads the men's outer garments area.

1999:
the licence for the Signum knitted and woven products is obtained from the licensor Dittmar GmbH & Co. KG Braunschweig. With regard to colours, prices and statement, this collection is based on the successful men's collection of the company Dittmar GmbH & Co. KG and can establish a strong position for itself in the premium brand segment over the years.

1998:
Kai Wilhelm, the former managing director of Grantex and Headlands in Hamburg, joins as managing director.

1997:
Marc Borowski, former product manager and sales manager at Anasasi in Hamburg, joins the company.

1996:
Kitaro Textilhandel GmbH is founded by Steffen Ziegler.
