The marine archaeologists from the Portuguese company Arqueonautas Worldwide Arqueologia Subaquatica, S.A. have been retrieving the inventory of exposed shipwrecks from the seabed since 1995. The main focus of their activities is the sustainable protection of the global maritime heritage through professional salvaging operations.

Inspired by the impressions and experiences of the crew, casual, sporty fashion collections which are also very popular amongst divers during their expeditions have been developed since 2008.

The individual parts of the collection are "Crew Tested", "Salt Water Washed" and "Water Proofed". Each collection reflects the colour and natural characteristics of the respective expedition dive area.

Many maritime elements have been integrated into the design. All this combined makes the fashion brand so authentic, distinctive and extra-ordinary.

This unique symbiosis of casual fashion and maritime adventure has also impressed Kevin Costner. The Hollywood star is himself an experienced and passionate diver who cares deeply about environmental protection. For 15 years, the actor has been dedicated to advancing technologies for cleaning oil-contaminated water. These were also implemented after the oil catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico.
